Welcome to Paragon! On behalf of all of your admin and moderator staff, we'd like to welcome you to what we consider one of the most well-developed elemental wolf role-plays out there!

You may have been directed here by one of many different ways - word of mouth, an advertisement on another forum, or perhaps merely via search engine! If you've come looking for an abridged version of our game, well we're glad to provide!

Paragon: itself is a continent floating on a grand ocean on a Planet thus unnamed by the wolves, though it has it's own name in time and space as given by others. It's creation is a mystery to it's inhabitants, but what is known is that the dominant species here is the gray wolf, and it has been this way for centuries.



Long ago, nigh over 50 cycles of the seasons, a human sorceror made a fateful visit to this land, an accident in his flow of magic that brought him here and stranded him within the borders. Unable to leave, and needing something to occupy his time here, this sorceror, gifted in the use of elemental magic, started experimenting with the dominant carnivores here; the wolves.

Over many years of experiments, he managed to create what are called elemental foci, one of each foci located in a particular area: Emerald Forest, Ruby Desert, Quartz Peaks, and Sapphire Lake. Each of these foci created an aura of a particular element that swept over it's portion of land, affecting the wolves that resided within. Thus the four original elemental packs of Paragon were created.

Other elemental packs were created as well over the years prior to his death, as described in our timeline of events, however, that brief history lesson should allow insight into what our game is about.

Paragon, Paradigm of the Elements is about role-playing an elemental wolf of one of our seven elemental packs. In our packs, we presume that there are many "npc" wolves in the background that make up each pack, with the pack base being just the "tip of the iceberg". Therefore, you join assuming you've been a part of the elemental pack, simply isolated, or perhaps even living in a family group on the fringes of the elemental land you belong to. So it is very easy to "write" your wolf into our story and start roleplaying right away!

We toss new and exciting plots out for you every two months, revealing more and more of the history behind the world and the creatures and elements within it! Of course, you may also create your own personal relationships and plots to do with your particular characters, so long as they fit with the continuity of the world around!
