Whee!, Isn't life wonderful? [AW]

Gee, there was nothing quite like being re-frozen to make a girl appreciate life.

Grinning, eyes bright, the sweet little wolfess jumped from one snowdrift to the next, humming a cheery tune. Snowflakes fell down in a twirly little dance around her, fresh and white and beautiful. The world was bright and lovely and there was nothing more wonderful than that!

Sure, life wasn't perfect; there were things that made her unhappy, yeah. Like being refrozen in the first place, or being brought back as an omega Sentinel instead of a beta Shaman...or that Avalon didn't seem to be around anymore. But, she wasn't going to let those things bother her. She was going to be happy, because there was no greater feeing in the world than simple joy.

"Whee!" She cried, diving headfirst into a particularly deep pile of snow. When she emerged, there was a tiny pile of snow perched between her ears, and as she stood, it tumbled down onto her muzzle. Hiberna giggled, shaking it off, and began tunneling into the pile of snow. The ultimate snow-fort, that's what she would make! What better way to spend the day?

Pale As Ice Despite being a wolf that tended to be withdrawn from others and a bit icy in personality Angeni still had a streak for excitement and today she was looking for just that. With the rare bounce in her paw steps for a change the recently thawed she-wolf made her way through the wonderland of snow by way of ice paws. That’s right the Reioghan omega sentinel had used her given charms as a wolf of ice to make a slick sheet of ice beneath her four big paws and was now sliding through the snow drifts that cover the Amethyst Ridge by way of ice skating. The hardly ever heard sound of laughter erupted from her muzzle as she came whooshing down a particularly steep drift of snow and landed head first into another pile with a loud thud. Getting up from where she had collided with the wall of snow she heard the fairly close by sound of another laughing much like herself out of pure joy. In the odd mood to want to be in the company of another wolf Angeni quickly shook herself free of the snow that had piled up on her form and rushed to the top of the snow pile she had hit. With a huge smile on her snout the mainly ice blue wolf peered out from behind her white masked face from a pair of striking ice blue eyes. To her great joy it did not take her long to find the source of the joyful sound of giggles and it was an ice wolf much like herself enjoying the soft shower of snowflakes from up above. Rushing down by way of her ice sheeted paws Angeni was soon standing in front of the other Reioghan and grinned at her with a wagging tail. ”Hello there my name is Angeni… who might you be?” © Emblem Song :: Artist

Silver eyes were drawn from the giant pile of snow when a voice distracted an almost comically focused Hiberna from her work. Standing there was another wolfess, one who looked just about as happy-go-lucky as she did; she grinned, suddenly excited to have the company. "Angeni, huh? I'm Hiberna!" The wispy-furred wolfess squeaked.

Hiberna blinked, then with a tiny look of surprise, glanced back at her work-in-progress. "Oh! I'm making a snow fort; wanna help?" As she spoke, another little pile of snow was lifted by way of her charms and added onto the fort. "See, it's got a tunnel here, and then it's gonna have a big room inside and...and...and I don't know what then!" She giggled, silver eyes glittering as they almost always did. "But it's gonna be so cool."
